Volvo’s Subscription Program Now Lets You Swap Cars Every Four Months

Some luxury automakers have started offering subscription services in very limited areas in recent years, but Volvo’s program stands out for its availability in most states across the country. Now the Care By Volvo program is updated so that customers can trade in vehicles as if they were swapping jackets.

Now Volvo will allow you to upgrade or return a subscription vehicle at any time after four months. The program is an alternative to a traditional lease, which locks you in for a longer and defined period, for example 36 months, and which originally had a subscription period of 24 months. Volvo covers factory scheduled maintenance and insurance costs, both of which are included in the monthly payment. Drivers can travel up to 1,250 miles per month, according to the Care By Volvo website.

Earlier this year, Volvo expanded the program to include vehicles in retail inventory. This means that customers can subscribe to a car they see on the dealership’s lot and take it away the same day.

Buyers can subscribe to the 2021 Volvo S60 or XC40 for as little as $ 650 per month. The 2021 Volvo XC60 is available for $ 700 per month, while the larger XC90 goes for $ 750 per month.

Volvo doesn’t just ruin its subscription business. He also described another service earlier this year to help owners meet their vehicle’s maintenance needs during this current period of stay-at-home: Volvo Valet, which allows owners to schedule service appointments. by phone, after which a Volvo employee comes to their home. and pick up their car. At the same time, a loan vehicle is deposited. Volvo is expected to expand the service to include vehicle purchases and test drives.
