Reader Rides: The Sweetest Cars Owned by MotorTrend Readers!

Although we are asked to practice physical distance and stay at home, it does not mean that we are bored. As author Dave Pezler put it, “something good comes out of every crisis.”

Like this post, for example. We asked our readers via social media to share their rides with a positive rating at the MotorTrend community. We have received dozens of videos from across the country, with users letting us enter their garages to preview their sweet rides. From all-terrain vehicles to vans and hot rods, users have shared with us the love they have for their cars and everything related to the automobile.

One of our favorites in the group must be the 1989 Volkswagen Vanagon by Graham Simon. With its rad, retro design and tons of indoor space for camping, the Vanagon could be a perfect ride to have when you can go out, but you can’t go to a crowded place. But the stars of the show are the daughters of Simon, who made the cutest presentation of the VW. We can’t wait to hear about all of their future camping and road trip adventures!

YouTuber Jason Lewis of AutoEdit has shared his collection of cars since entering. We don’t know if we’ll go for his tuned Jeep Wrangler or for his immaculate 1965 Corvette Sting Ray, which has more than 500,000 miles on the odometer. Either way, he made a good show of representing Roadkill while being accompanied by Pinto the dog.

The Honda S2000 is a car we really miss, and the wish was still under construction, and Frank Lee has one of the coolest S2000s we’ve seen. Judging by the appearance of its 2004, it is far from being in stock and whether the folks at Global Time Attack had anything to do with it or not, we like the color, the red seat belts and the presence that he has on the road.

There are many more cool rides, including the 1969 Dodge Polara owned by CarFrom Aaron Gold. Head over to the clip to check them all out.
