Porsche Taycan Gets Wild Widebody Kit From Prior Design

Prior design is no stranger to tuning electric vehicles. We’ve seen a few EVs modified by the multi-brand tuning company, mostly Tesla models, but this Porsche Taycan is a studio first. In fact, Prior Design recognizes the Taycan as “the perfect platform for a vehicle simply predestined for tuning.”

Looking at the photo gallery below, this project can best be described as typical prior design work. It adds a full widebody kit to the Taycan’s already aggressive appearance and further emphasizes its sporty nature with a massive fixed wing at the rear.

As you would expect from the Kamp-Lintfort-based company, the car has wide fenders with additional air vents in the front. Thanks to these body extensions, the Taycan is now 60mm wider at the front and about 100mm at the rear. German specialists promise that the electric sedan “will turn heads wherever it appears” – but whether for better or for worse, we can’t say.

The wider fenders are complemented by a set of more aggressive side skirts and matching 22-inch wheels with five pieces and five double spokes. Finally, there are diffusers for both bumpers giving the Taycan granted an even lower overall stance.

The earlier design indicates that all components can be produced with high quality carbon. Additionally, a slightly less spectacular body kit will also be offered, ditching the wider fenders for a more understated appearance. Price and availability details are available upon request.
