Porsche 911 Gets Off-Road Makeover From German Tuner
We are witnessing a very promising new trend in recent months. A number of tuning companies have presented incredible adventure machines based on the Porsche 911, including KMR’s Ruf Rodeo and Safari 911. one-stop all-terrain specialist.
People in the company say that they were inspired by the victories of the Dakar Dakar and Pharaoh rally of the 1980s to design this unique Porsche 911. It comes from the 992 generation and is a Carrera 4S specification – more than just a perfect foundation for what should become an efficient all-terrain machine.
Delta4x4 received a call from a local entrepreneur in Germany who had a very specific request. He wanted the studio to transform its all-new 911 Carrera 4S into an easily transportable adventure machine from Germany to Dakar, essentially recreating the legendary Paris-Dakar Rally. We bet that’s exactly what tuning specialists wanted to hear.
So far, there are only a handful of renderings previewing the final product. We like what we see though: there is a specially designed light bar with a custom roof rack for a true off-road appearance. Most importantly, a new, reinforced chassis with 250mm ground clearance should offer good capabilities off the paved road.

Judging by the information available to date, the Delta4x4 project is still in the early stages of development. The company says everything should be revealed next year and we can’t wait to see the all-terrain finished. It will be interesting to see if the visual and suspension settings will be accompanied by an upgrade to the powertrain to bring power above the current level of 444 horsepower (331 kilowatts).
