When it comes to thrilling performance cars with presence, it’s hard to beat the Mercedes-AMG team, especially when it comes to their line of ultra-rare Black Series vehicles. The Mercedes-AMG Black Series is reserved for the craziest creations the company dares to build and usually comes with a massive price tag, sensational performance, and a massive rear spoiler worthy of an F1 car. Mercedes-AMG recently unveiled its craziest car to date, the AMG GT Black Series which adheres to the winning Black Series formula. It got us wondering what a Black Series version of the C63 Coupe would look like? Fortunately, the Carlifestyle team was way ahead of us with this exciting rendering of a car Mercedes-AMG needs to build.
The current Mercedes-AMG C63 S is the most extreme version of the C-Class-based coupe and offers truly impressive performance. Powered by a handcrafted 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that produces 503 horsepower (375 kW) and 516 lb-ft (699 nm) of torque, the AMG C63 S can go from 0 to 60 in just 3.7 seconds and shoot down the quarter. -mile in 11.9 seconds at 122 mph. This impressive coupe also boasts one of the best stock exhaust ratings of any car on the road and a sleek design that sets it apart from the competition.
When it comes to a Black Series version of the C63, we’d expect more power and less weight. As a rule, black series cars make extensive use of carbon fiber and other exotic materials to shed extra pounds. In the latest AMG GT Black series, a flat crank was used to increase high-end horsepower and could be used in the top C63 version, but that remains to be determined. More aggressive aerodynamics show up on the render and are an important part of the real car, as the Black Series is said to be the more roadworthy version.
