Mercedes-Benz Motorsport Launches Dedicated Channel On Motorsport.tv

London, August 5, 2020: Mercedes has launched a dedicated channel on Motorsport.tv, Motorsport Network’s OTT digital platform dedicated to racing and automotive content.

The Mercedes channel will take fans behind the scenes of one of Formula 1’s most successful teams, as well as content from the Mercedes EQ Formula E team, customer racing teams and other automotive projects.

The channel will be accessible to Motorsport Network’s 56 million monthly audiences of global racing and car fans, the ambition being to bring this audience to the heart of one of the most successful manufacturers in history. As part of this program, Motorsport Network will also work with Mercedes by using its new Motorsport Studios platform to co-create unique content pieces exclusively for Motorsport.tv.

Mercedes will be able to access a vast archive of multimedia content, including more than 26 million images dating back to the original car created by Mercedes in 1886.

To kick off the channel, Mercedes will be giving fans a first chance to look back at the British Grand Prix through the latest installment of the F1 team’s popular post-race debriefing video series. Mercedes is the latest automaker to host a dedicated channel on Motorsport.tv and the first to include Formula 1-themed content as part of what will be available.

The Motorsport Network and Mercedes collaboration brings together two respective industry leaders: motorsport audience reach and distribution, motorsport social media and fan engagement, making it a strong partnership in the digital space of motorsport.
