VW T6 and T6.1 from delta4x4 in cooperation with VW specialist Seikel: extreme motorhome for off-road adventure
Generations of VW motorhomes have traversed deserts and climbed mountains circling the world with their intrepid owners. The VW bus is recognized around the world for embodying freedom, independence and adventure – even where others are afraid to go.
As you would expect, the contemporary VW T6 and T6.1 offer the very best in comfort and convenience, especially evident in the California edition.
To let the VW bus hit the dirt and experience the adventure of off-road camping, the delta4x4 team have created the T6 / T6.1 package. We present the Seikel body lift kit with the tuned Bilstein shocks for the front and rear axle (from 1900 €), which lifts the van by 30mm. The total ground clearance of 6 cm is obtained thanks to the delta4x4 All Terrain 255 / 55R18 tires and the robust and rally tested Classic B alloy rims (from € 3,400). Some special highlights are: the flange that protects the rim from damage and the Seikel underrun protection for the engine and gearbox (€ 580), the differential (€ 499) and the fuel tank (€ 1042). The European homologated front bar (€ 580) and the cleverly designed and well integrated high-voltage LED wide lights from Japanese rally specialist PIAA (€ 430) enhance the striking look of the VW bus as does the sports exhaust system ( 900 €)), which gives this ultimate motorhome a powerful sound and facilitates the flow of exhaust gases.
And finally, the best news; this premium off-road conversion is also possible for the T6 and T6.1 without the California equipment and without four-wheel drive.
