Latest Ford Bronco Teaser Combines The New And Old SUVs
At the time of writing, the resurrected Ford Bronco debut is less than two weeks away on July 13, and the latest Blue Oval teaser for the highly anticipated SUV is a mashup of the last and the original.
The three images show only the extreme edges of the new Bronco and focus largely on the front end of the old SUV. However, there are some interesting visible details. The vehicle wears a vibrant shade of yellow paint with black trim, including a vertical rib along the outside edges of the hood. The side mirrors protrude from the body and there are large fender flares. The bumper also looks fairly robust. The platform rolls on knotty tires that look good for off-roading.
Ford has just announced that interested customers can book a Bronco 2021 for only $ 100 starting July 13. Look for actual deliveries to start before the end of the year. The asking price for Ford’s new SUV is still unknown, but the company intends for the model to compete with competent off-roaders like the Jeep Wrangler and the Toyota 4Runner. Look for the Bronco to start around $ 30,000 and go much higher for the more robust models with serious off-road equipment.
The Bronco is allegedly available with a four-cylinder EcoBoost as the base engine. The sounds of a recent teaser video suggest that a V6 would also be available. The most likely choice is the 2.7-liter twin turbo engine, but the 3.5-liter twin turbo is a choice of dark horse.
All of this speculation may soon end when the Bronco finally makes its debut after years of rumors and official teasers. Remember, Ford confirmed the model’s return in January 2017 at this year’s Detroit Auto Show, so it took a long time to see this unveiling.
