Jaguar F-Pace SVR Spied Playing Its V8 Symphony At Nurburgring
While Jaguar is certainly not the first brand that comes to mind when talking about the legacy of SUVs, it is certainly one of the companies that are currently building some of the best performance utility vehicles. The F-Pace SVR is one of the models that have the most important appearance and engine sound, and that will not change with the facelift of the model that is currently in preparation.
Seen here when running in the Nurburgring – and running in we intend to destroy its tires at high speed, the F-Pace SVR still wears the usual amount of camouflage that hides its visual revisions. We don’t expect major changes, but at least the front fascia will receive some adjustments in the lower part of the bumper. As confirmed by the previous spy photos, the grilles will probably receive new patterns and the upper one will be flanked by redesigned headlights with LED technology.
The design improvements will not be matched by a reworked engine as we expect the 5.0-liter V8 under the hood to remain basically intact. Still, it will be good for at least 550 horsepower (410 kilowatts) and 502 pound-feet (680 Newton-meters) of torque, enough for acceleration from 0 to 60 miles per hour (0-96 kilometers per hour) in the low four second range.
We didn’t have a chance to take a look inside the cabin of the refreshed F-Pace, but sources suggest that the refurbished premium SUV could get a new group of digital instruments and a screen display. larger infotainment. These upgrades should be accompanied by a modified dashboard design to accommodate the new modules and screens.
The F-Pace 2021 should arrive before the end of the year and it will be interesting to see if the SVR performance model will join the range from day one. The first deliveries to customers are expected to occur in the first quarter of 2021.
