ICON 4×4’s all-new hand-built Thriftmaster perfectly combines the timeless style of the bygone era of the original vehicle with modern cutting-edge engineering for the ultimate truck driving experience. The Old School Thriftmaster is the latest in a famous series of stunning ICON 4×4 Old School editions, which feature restored trucks imbued with the best of modern performance and engineering, all with a distinctive retro look.

The ICON 4×4 Old School Edition Thriftmaster features an emissions-certified LS3 V8 engine producing 430 horsepower mated to a 4L85-E automatic transmission. Implementing independent front and rear suspension, this versatile truck is capable of hauling light loads while still having the performance characteristics of a modern sports car. The result is an unforgettable, timeless retro design that drives like nothing else on the road today.
The ICON 4×4 Old School Edition Thriftmaster incorporates a stunning vintage light green two-tone paint job that is sure to make a statement. Like a real coach, every exterior component of the Thriftmaster construction has been given special attention. The superb Old School styling presented by the truck continues seamlessly throughout the interior with a more correct period design with a distinct 4×4 ICON touch.
ICON 4×4 retained the original Thriftmaster dashboard in vanilla hues to showcase the luxurious saddle leather seats, steering wheel and roof. One of the truck’s many unique features is the Saint-François badge located on the back of the interior cabin. Among other things, Saint Francis is known as the patron saint of motorists thanks to a famous legend about how an angel lit the oncoming road to protect it from dangers. The beautiful badge inside the Thriftmaster means safe travel for all, and ICON 4×4 found this treasured antique in London for the customer. The interior of the Thriftmaster also incorporates custom leather to add an additional level of comfort and luxury to all passengers, including matching green suede piping made to order.
Other modern updates implemented in the vehicle include the powerful ICON Brembo brakes which dramatically improve the stopping power of the truck, as well as a sleek African teak bed, complemented by stainless steel rails and pins. custom removable fasteners.
