Since then, our photographers have tested the crossover on several occasions, slowly losing its camouflage and coating, but the latest photos give us the best look at the model yet.

The new photos show the Kona N returning to the Nürburgring, where we’ve spotted the crossover on several occasions. The coating on the front is gone, giving us a clear glimpse into the shape of the front, even though it still sports a camouflage wrap. We can see the daytime running lights high on Kona’s face, a new grille that resembles that of the new Sonata, reworked headlights, and more.

At the rear, we have a great look at the roof spoiler and a glimpse of the taillights. Below is a massive diffuser that houses two large tailpipes that will help the model’s turbocharged 2.0-liter breathe. The mill is expected to produce 275 horsepower (205 kilowatts with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. A six-speed manual transmission is possible, but power shifts to all four wheels regardless of the gearbox.
