The Civic Type R is one of the craziest performance sedans on the market today. The polarizing and angular design has undergone some changes for 2020, with a few changes underneath, although it has done nothing to tone down the aesthetics of the boys racing the car. However, those who want an even wilder appearance just have to turn to Mugen for an assortment of spares that will allow someone to change the style of the Type R beyond 11.
Mugen offers several exterior body parts that enhance the look of the sedan. At the front, the company offers a front under the spoiler, a carbon grille trim and a carbon fiber hood. At the rear, available parts include a tailgate spoiler, a new wing and a (very) busy rear diffuser. Other exterior enhancements include revised side skirts and carbon exterior mirror covers. Mugen packs the front under the spoiler, side skirts and rear diffuser in a stylish package while the Aero & Wheel package is the stylish package associated with Mugen’s 20 inch wheels.
Inside, customers can change their steering wheel while adding Mugen brand interior door protectors. The company also offers a Recaro racing seat with the Mugen logo embroidered in the headrest. There is also an assortment of gear change buttons, an engine start / stop button with the Mugen logo and sill plates. Those looking to improve the sound of the car can opt for the sports exhaust system.

For 2020, Honda engineers have hidden many Type R improvements under the sheet. The 2020 model received upgraded brakes, stiffer suspension and revised steering, as well as other updates. The grille also grew in size, which helped to supply air to the four-cylinder turbo under the hood. However, it continues to produce the same 306 horsepower (228 kilowatts). If the wildness of Mugen is a little too much, there are many other improvements available.
