Michael Fux is a Cuban-American businessman who made his fortune in the mattress industry. For car enthusiasts, it is known to have a prolific collection of cars, often populated by supercars and exotic cars. How big is his collection of cars? He’s only the first to get the McLaren Senna from MSO in North America, and he came up with more than half a million dollars in carbon fiber options.
Fux is also known for its rather eccentric taste in the colors of cars. Well, the eccentric could be an understatement since he went so far as to order 10 colors with Rolls-Royce before, putting his name to the custom paint jobs he had requested.
His latest acquisition is this Hispano Suiza Carmen which comes to Fux Fuschia. The Spanish automaker teased Fux’s request on its Facebook page, which was accompanied by several renderings of the brightly colored supercar. It’s certainly not everyone’s cup of tea, but hey, it’s his money, so let’s leave it to what he wants.
In addition to the Fuschia exterior color, Hispano Suiza went so far as to personalize the interior with the same color accents in the cabin. It is associated with the copper color, which is also reflected on the wheels.
This is not the first time that we have seen the Fux Fuschia color used on Fux cars. We have already seen a Rolls-Royce Dawn with this color, as well as a McLaren 720S which was exhibited at the Pebble Beach Concours in 2017.
Fux was pretty ecstatic about his next Carmen, but it looks like it would take months to take delivery of his unique supercar. Fux’s Instagram post mentioned that he would get Carmen by March 2021.
