We know most tankers love all types of in-depth videos. Whether it’s cleaning the inside or the outside, seeing the hard work and transformation is incredibly satisfying. That said, with the interior details it can sometimes be taken to the extreme. Stauffer Garage’s latest video is no exception with one of the dirtiest interiors we’ve ever seen.
For the uninitiated, the majority of Stauffer Garage’s content is about detailing car interiors that would petrify even the most confident warriors of the weekend. With a modest selection of tools at his disposal, James Stauffer takes these vehicles from utter disaster to almost like new. To offer some perspective, he often uses the term roach motel to refer to some of the interiors it takes.
Already after grabbing what he could inside and filling a few trash bags, the MDX looked better. After the shallow clean, Stauffer vacuumed whatever he could pull off to make his life easier later. While the astronomical amount of crumbs in the car was hard to see, the time-lapse vacuuming scenes were a welcome relief.
While the aspiration proved to be successful, it also revealed more work to be done. Some sort of mysterious residue was now more visible throughout the interior. No worries for Stauffer as he attacked the whole car with an all-purpose cleaner and a scrub brush. To our surprise, everything cleaned up very well.
Unlike most retail chains that use ridiculously expensive equipment, the videos on Stauffer Garage show that you can achieve similar results with more accessible items and some elbow grease. We don’t tolerate your vehicle getting this dirty, but it’s good to know that it won’t be too far.
