More than a week after its official debut, the Ford Bronco is still causing an online sensation. Almost all forums and social media groups on Ford and / or off-road still discuss the (not so) new kid on the block and, meanwhile, independent designers offer different ideas based on the model. Today’s project comes from KDesign on Behance and presents a different vision of Bronco Sport, more affordable.
The first rendering shows a two-door Bronco Sport, which we believe has no chance of happening. The proportions of this virtual design look good and the overall design language fits the idea well, but being based on the Escape platform and Euro-spec Focus, the Bronco Sport simply does not have the possibility of losing two from its doors. In fact, there is currently not a single two-door car based on this architecture.
The second render has only two doors, but it also adds Raptor treatment to the mix. Obviously, it won’t go into production either, but it’s certainly something we’d like to see from Blue Oval. At least we hope that the Bronco or Bronco Sport could get an appropriate version of Raptor in the near future, albeit with four doors.
We are fairly confident that the aftermarket scene will offer tons of accessories and parts for both Bronco models and with a good selection of components, everyone should be able to have a Raptor appearance. Meanwhile, we will also be crossing our fingers for a factory upgrade of Raptor.
