Ford Bronco Raptor Rendering Imagines Speedy Off-Roader
With the official launch of the relaunched Bronco, Ford has answered many questions regarding its most capable all-terrain machine in modern history. The automaker has yet to address a burning question: will there be a Bronco Raptor or not. At this point, we’ve only heard rumors suggesting a positive response and that was enough for another graphic designer to come up with a design for the rugged SUV.
This time around, we’re sharing four renderings courtesy of wb.artist20 on Instagram – each drawing imagines the Bronco Raptor in a different color, varying from a performance blue to a brilliant red-orange hue. There are some nice little tweaks to the exterior, but we’ll get to that in a second.
As we’ve discussed several times before, we haven’t tested the off-road yet, but the 2021 Bronco has some promising stats that should make it quite capable off paved roads. What the Raptor could add to this winning recipe isn’t going to be much and should be mostly limited to a few suspension upgrades, a modified appearance, and potentially a more powerful engine.
Visual revisions offered by these renderings include a modified front bumper with additional LED fog lights, a new grille with a Raptor badge, more robust front fenders with wider wheel arches and a roof rack. We could be wrong, but the vehicle appears to sit an inch or two higher than the original Bronco.
A report from over a year ago speculated that there was at least a small chance for the new Bronco to get the full Raptor treatment. Ford has not confirmed the information and we wait patiently for more details in the near future. Until then, let’s get ready for some more hardcore Bronco potential with these renderings.
