Ever Wonder What Goes On Inside The Intake Manifold Of A Toyota Supra?
Remember the guy who used a GoPro to capture footage of what’s going on inside a tire? Then you probably saw him do the same lap but this time he burned out until his tire exploded. Crazy (and weird) stuff, huh? Well, weirdly and frankly, we love these videos to show off the versatility of modern action cameras and proof that you won’t run out of things to use them.
And guess what, this guy who owns the Distorted perception channel on YouTube has no shortage of things to insert its action camera. This time around, he inserts his GoPro into the intake manifold of an A80 Toyota Supra Turbo, hoping to see what happens inside while he drives his car. Don’t ask why.
We’ve integrated the video at the top of this page and we’ll leave it to you to watch it and observe what happened.
So what did you see? There’s not much really, but valves that open and close, plus a bit of an oil leak (or is it?) Going on inside its intake manifold. . It’s interesting to see what happens during full throttle scenarios and during blips, with the pressure from the engine almost baffling the action camera.
At the end of the video, our favorite guy was happy with what he saw. We can’t say the same for the GoPro as it appears to have overheated because of what happened. And oh, for those who are planning to do the same with their cars, you might want to think twice before you do. As mentioned in the video, he formulated a special contraption in order to mount the action camera. You don’t want the motor to suck your GoPro in the process, do you?
Then again we think this is not the last time we will see Distorted perception stick his GoPro elsewhere. And of course, we’ll be on the lookout for that.
