BMW gives its 8 Series range a touch of bling with the new Goldern Thunder Edition. It is the latest special edition vehicle from the BMW Dingolfing factory, featuring exclusive BMW Individual design and equipment features.
It should be noted that the BMW 8 Series Goldern Thunder Edition is purely aesthetic at this stage and is available in the 8 Series range: from the coupe to the Gran Coupé, and from the 840i to the M850i xDrive.
As you might have guessed, the main point of the Golden Thunder edition is the application of golden accents on the body of the largest non-service Bimmer. These golden ornaments extend from the front apron to the side skirts and extend into the rear apron. The 20-inch M light-alloy wheels with double spokes are also available in black, as is the M rear spoiler, available exclusively for the 8 series coupe.
The body finish, on the other hand, could be either in sapphire black metallic or in glossy black metallic. To complete the look, BMW Individual adds a high-gloss shadow line with extended functionality and black brake calipers for the M sport brake system.
Inside, the 8 Series Golden Edition has a black merino leather trim with the inscription “Edition Golden Thunder” on the front headrests. The Coupés and Gran Coupés have a roof lining in Alcantara Anthracite, as well as interior finishes in aluminum with a golden mesh effect.
