2021 BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe rendering

BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe Dresses In Virtual Production Clothes

With the release of the new BMW 4 Series Coupé, we hope that it will only be a few months before seeing its more practical cousin, the 4 Series Gran Coupé. We have already seen the model during its development several times, and our good friends Kolesa.ru finally decided to unpack the camouflage so that we could better look outside.

Their exclusive rendering shows a 4 GC performance blue in what appears to be the M Performance trim. It obviously gets the massive grille from the coupe on the front fairing. In fact, its presence has not been confirmed so far, but spy photos strongly suggest that it won’t remain an exclusive feature for the 4 Series coupe.

No matter if you are a fan of the front design or not, it is probably safe to say that the four-door vehicle will be quite in the rear. He will follow the design recipe for the Series 2 Gran Coupé but will lose the duck-style spoiler for a smaller and more elegant wing.

Inside, the Series 4 Gran Coupé will share its interior with the current Series 3. The same goes for the foundations, including the range of engines. Depending on the market, you can buy it with one of the many turbocharged three, four and six cylinder engines, running on petrol or diesel. A rechargeable hybrid grinder should also be part of the family.

One rumor that has just died is that BMW will also launch an M4 Gran Coupé, which could find the automaker’s 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine under the hood, producing at least 503 horsepower (375 kilowatts). Obviously, we cannot confirm the speculation at the moment but our fingers remain crossed, it will happen.

With the current uncertain situation surrounding the coronavirus pandemic, it is difficult to predict when the new four-door Bimmer will arrive. We will invest our money in early 2021, but nothing can be confirmed at this time.
