Acura Is Reportedly Offering a $12,000 Discount on the 2020 RLX
Acura will be shutting down the slow-selling RLX after the 2020 model year, which means it might be the perfect time to buy one if you’re in the market. Right now, you can find discounts of up to $ 12,000 on the large sedan.
The biggest contract, however, is not advertised on television or online. According to CarsDirect, Acura offers a cash incentive to brokers of $ 11,000 on the RLX. Dealer money is returned by brands to its dealers so that they can reduce new cars at their discretion. Typically, its purpose is to help remove vehicles from the lot, although dealers may choose to keep the money rather than pass the rebate on to consumers.
All versions of the Acura RLX 2020 are eligible for the incentive, depending on CarsDirect. Buyers may need to make a few purchases to get the best deal. In addition to the dealer’s cash, Acura doubled its loyalty discount to $ 1,000.
Dealer incentive reports show that offers on the RLX have remained stable for at least the past six months. Acura previously offered a dealer bonus of $ 7,500 and a loyalty discount of $ 500. As for the financing agreement that Acura is currently announcing, it is not as impressive as the dealer’s money. Acura currently offers a promotion for APR funding of 2.9% for 60 months, or 1.9% for 36 months. The loyalty discount and the APR financing agreement expire on July 6.
Before any discount, the Acura RLX 2020 stickers at $ 55,925. The gasoline-electric hybrid variant, which offers more power and better fuel economy, starts at $ 62,925. Whichever powertrain you choose, the RLX is a spacious, quiet and comfortable cruiser. As we noted in previous reviews, we’re not impressed with the sedan’s outdated infotainment system. For a big discount, maybe we could ignore some of the sedan’s faults.
