The latest generation of the Ford F-150 seems to be a very impressive pickup truck due to features such as a high-tech cabin, bed-mounted power outlets, a hybrid powertrain option and many other improvements major. However, if you are looking for something to complain about, the style of the truck is probably a weak point. Even if Ford says that most of the body panels are new, it looks a lot like the previous generation.
The Sketch Monkey aims to correct this gap in a new video. In his opinion, the 2021 F-150 looks too much like the last GMC Sierra. To fix it, it gives the Ford a more boxer shape that looks really attractive.
The change creates support-shaped traffic lights that delimit the upper and outer edge of the headlights. A part of the body then breaks the line, and it continues in the lamps for fog lights.
The effect of this fairly minor design change is that the F-150 looks brighter and more muscular. This corresponds very well to the behavior of the truck. The Sketch Monkey also raises the ride height and adapts to the wheels with studded tires. It’s a perfect match for the harder look at the front of the pickup.
Ford makes sure buyers have a lot of style choices for their new F-150 by building the truck with 11 different grille designs. They range from simple black plastic on the entry-level XL trim to a silver design with horizontal slats on the Limited range. There are also various chrome models on other models. In addition, we are pretty sure that the next Raptor will have another different look.
The 2021 Ford F-150 will go on sale this fall. Estimates suggest that prices would start at around $ 30,000 for the base model and reach around $ 70,000 for the Limited. Loading options would further increase these numbers.
