2021 Ram 1500 and HD Limited Night Editions are Tall, Dark, and Handsome
If you were disappointed when Ram announced that its Blacked Out Night Edition set will only be available on the Big Horn and Laramie trims, fear not. Ram has heard your requests and will offer the Night Edition on the luxury Limited trim for the 1500, 2500 and 3500.
Like the Night Edition trucks before it, the 2021 Ram 1500 and Heavy Duty Limited Night Editions receive dark-colored exterior accents, including black wheels, grilles, exhaust tips, headlight and taillight frames, mirror caps and badges. The Ram 1500 Limited Night editions can be made with either 20 or 22 inch wheels, while the Ram HD Limited Night editions get 20s with single rear wheels or 17s in dual form. Inside you’ll find all of the luxurious amenities of the Limited trim, including leather upholstery and a standard 12.0-inch Uconnect touchscreen, plus a 19-speaker Harman / Kardon sound system.
A domed sports performance hood similar to the one found on the Rebel comes standard on the 1500 Limited Night Edition. In addition, the 1500 and HD Limited Night Edition trucks feature body-color bumpers, a tri-fold tonneau cover and front tow hooks.
The 2021 Ram 1500 and HD Limited Night editions are available with rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive and have the same drivetrain options as the standard 1500 and HD Limited models. In the case of the 1500, these include a 3.6-liter V6 with eTorque mild hybrid technology, a 5.7-liter V8 with or without eTorque, and a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 for 480 lb-ft of torque. . HD buyers can choose between a 6.4-liter V-8, a 6.7-liter Cummins inline-six, or a high-output version of the Cummins on the Ram 3500 that makes a whopping 1,000 lb-ft.
The 2021 Ram 1500 Limited Night Edition starts at $ 61,740, while the HD Limited Night Edition starts at $ 64,625. Both trucks will arrive at dealerships starting in the third quarter of 2020.
