2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA250 Crossover Priced From $37,280
The Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class is undergoing a major overhaul for 2021 which sees new technology and a fresh look adorning the smallest crossover in the three-spoke model line. It also results in a higher starting price of $ 37,280, almost $ 2,000 more than the 2020 GLA.
Despite its jump in price, the 2021 GLA 250 has a number of new standard features to justify its additional cost. The model notably hosts the brand’s MBUX infotainment system. As in other Mercs, the interior of the GLA has two giant screens: one for the infotainment of the cabin and another serving as a group of digital gauges. The screens measure 7.0 inches, however, buyers can spend more to scale the screens up to 10.3 inches.
The GLA 250 is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged in-line four-cylinder engine that develops 221 hp at 5,500 rpm and 258 lb-ft of torque at a low engine speed of 1,620 rpm. An eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission is the only transmission offered and sends power to the front wheels on two-wheel drive GLAs. Spend an additional $ 2,000 and the small Mercedes crossover will increase the power of its four-wheel drive.
Mercedes has not yet announced a price for two additional GLA models: the Mercedes-AMG GLA 35 and GLA 45. These are the best dogs in the GLA model range, with the GLA 35 racing 302 horsepower and the GLA 45 correlating 382 ponies. —The two 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engines. Either way, expect both models to carry significantly more expensive price tags than their GLA 250 kin, and go on sale sometime after its less powerful companion, which will be released for sale in the middle of this year.
