NAHSVILLE, Tennessee – For model year 2021, the INFINITI QX80 full-size SUV offered in the United States has been upgraded with additional equipment, innovative new technologies and stylish features worthy of its luxury status. INFINITI has announced the MSRP for the new 2021 QX80 full-size luxury SUV, which has been updated to push the boundaries with distinct exterior and interior features. The 2WD QX80 will start at $ 69,050 and the All-Mode® 4WD will be $ 72,150.
A new ‘SENSORY’ note sits at the top of the revised QX80 lineup. Occupants will experience a lavish interior with quilted semi-aniline leather-trimmed seats, charcoal burl trim and new graphite-knit headliner for an artisanal, tailored feel. The exterior features sleek 22-inch forged alloy wheels and chrome mirror caps, both of which add to the stylish appearance of the QX80. INFINITI’s hydraulic body movement control system is also included for better cornering stability and a smoother ride at all speeds.
New “PREMIUM SELECT” grade brings a series of exterior trim enhancements first seen on the limited-run 2020 QX80 “Edition 30”. Dark chrome and black highlight the QX80’s front grille, fender vents, exterior mirror caps and tailgate strip. The dominance is reinforced by the fitting of 22-inch forged alloy wheels in dark chrome. Three stylish interior trim colors are also available;
including “Graphite” and new “Truffle Brown” and “Sahara Stone” with revised matte brown accent trim.
The entry-level “LUXE” quality of the QX80 includes a range of standard driver assistance technologies available as standard. Blind Spot Intervention® (BSI®), Lane Departure Prevention (LDP), Distance Control Assist (DCA), rear seat belt reminder, and an updated Intelligent Cruise Control system are all included, while Android AutoTM and Apple CarPlayTM continue to provide enhanced connectivity across the entire QX80 range.
All versions now feature the second generation of INFINITI’s innovative Intelligent Mirror System (SRVM). SRVM, which first appeared on the QX80 with the last major model update in 2018, switches between a regular mirror and an LCD screen to display a high-definition image from a rear-mounted camera. It allows drivers to see clearly when passengers, cargo or lighting conditions obstruct the driver’s rear view. A larger 9.6-inch-diameter display, high-resolution camera and LED flicker attenuation technology provide enhanced visibility for increased confidence behind the wheel.
