Black Edition adds black painted wheels, blackout trim on the grille, window surrounds and door frame, red interior lighting and red highlights in the perforated leather. New in 2021, Pilot Black Edition is now available in Platinum White Pearl.
Widely praised for its versatility and family friendliness, Pilot remains a popular choice with consumers. One of the few models in its segment to offer eight seats (seven with optional captain’s seats in the second row), with a capacity of three people available in the second and third rows, Pilot also offers easy access to the third row thanks to the direct key access function available. All Pilot versions are also fitted with Honda Sensing® technology for driver assistance and safety as standard. Other technology highlights include an available 8-inch touchscreen audio system with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto ™ integration, an on-board CabinTalk® sound system, wireless smartphone charging and a hands-free power liftgate .
The off-road and all-weather driving capabilities of the Pilot 2021 are assisted by Honda’s intelligent variable torque management system (i-VTM4®) with true torque vectorization. Standard on all AWD models, the i-VTM4® uses an electronically controlled rear differential with hydraulic control to distribute the engine torque between the front and rear axles, and dynamically distribute the torque between the left and right rear wheels. . The advantages are superior handling in all weathers and a neutral and precise steering under power.
The Honda Pilot 2021 is manufactured exclusively at the Lincoln, Alabama auto plant, alongside Odyssey, Passport and Ridgeline, using parts from national and global sources. Its V6 engine is also manufactured in Alabama.
