2021 Hennessey Bronco Fortified With a 5.0-liter, 750-HP V-8

We expect Ford to introduce a Bronco Raptor at some point. But that likely won’t match production of the new 2021 Hennessey VelociRaptor Bronco, which goes into production next year. Hennessey crashed into a 750-horsepower 5.0-liter Ford V-8, allowing the SUV to hit 60 mph in 4.5 seconds. Power is channeled through Ford’s 10-speed automatic transmission.

New fuel injectors, air-to-water intercooler, and performance intake and exhaust systems are some of the key upgrades. Improvements continue with improved off-road suspension and rugged off-road tires. A hood scoop, along with the custom livery and unique grille, provide additional flavor. Hennessey hasn’t forgotten the interior, where you’ll find special touches, including embroidered headrests and serial number plates.

The Hennessey Bronco will be available in two and four door configurations. But you’ll want to hurry, because Hennessey only makes 24 total copies for the 2021 model year with a standard three-year / 36,000 mile limited warranty.

So what’s the price? Hennessey is asking for a significant amount: $ 225,000, but at least that includes the cost of donor Bronco, which starts at $ 29,995.

If you don’t get your hands on one of these models, there’s still a lot of off-road fun to be had. We believe a potential Bronco Raptor would produce at least 350bhp, maybe 400bhp. The regular Bronco packs a standard 2.3-liter turbo-four with 270 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque, or a twin-turbo 2.7-liter V6 available with 310 horsepower and 400 lb-ft.
