The big day has finally arrived as the envelopes are about to come out of the fourteenth generation of the Blue Oval’s workhorse. The most popular vehicle in America will not only be hybrid, but it will completely bypass the combustion engine for an EV variant, likely later in the life cycle. Bloomberg released a report this week that paints a clear picture of why the new truck is important. We’re just going to mention that the nearly 900,000 F-series trucks sold in 2019 generated about $ 42 billion in revenue, according to a study commissioned by Ford from the Boston Consulting Group.
Bloomberg adds: “The F series alone is bigger than McDonald’s Corp., Nike Inc., Coca-Cola Co. and Starbucks Corp.”
