2021 Ford Bronco Unofficial Configurator Is Impressively Detailed
Ford Bronco’s official online configurator won’t be available until September, although the Blue Oval is already accepting pre-orders with a $ 100 deposit. Until then, however, Bronco fans won’t be completely idle. Interactive Garage has its Bronco configurator up and running, and it’s surprisingly comprehensive as well.
Interactive Garage lets you choose between the two or four-door Bronco in the soft or hardtop while still offering the full color palette. It also lets you choose the finish – Badlands, Big Bend, Outer Banks, First Edition and the rest. However, it is not a complete configurator. It does not list any official Ford packages or any of the Ford supported accessories. Again, we do not know if or how Ford will integrate these accessories in the configurator.
However, Interactive Garage does more than just let people play building a Bronco. The site also allows you to configure an assortment of aftermarket parts from different vendors and brands for different makes and models, including the Jeep Wrangler. For the Bronco, these include new bumpers and side steps, exterior lighting options, suspension lifts and an assortment of wheel and tire packages that should appeal to all. off-road enthusiasts.
The site even estimates the prices for additional parts, which is a reminder of how expensive the SUV could be. The base Bronco starts at $ 28,500 for the two-door version and $ 33,200 for the four-door version. Ford will offer it with numerous packages and options with more than 200 factory guaranteed accessories available at launch, which the customer can integrate into the purchase price.
Right now, everything indicates that Ford has a huge winner in its hands. There are already around 230,000 reservations for the new Bronco, which is no surprise given that some customers will be waiting 18 months after production begins until their pre-ordered Bronco arrives.
