2021 Buick Envision Expected To Start At $34,000
So there are only a few months left before the official launch of the Buick Envision 2021. Since its last overhaul in 2019 for the US market, the Envision has undergone sweeping changes, from its sleeker and more fashionable exterior to its plethora of interior and mechanical modifications. While details are quite scarce at the moment, we think it’s safe to say that the Envision for North America will be identical to the Envision S for the Chinese market. Sure, we’ll learn a lot more once we get closer to the launch date, but the latest information comes in the form of what appears to be a fairly confirmed starting price for the 2021 Buick Envision.
GM Authority first unveiled the 2021 Buick Envision’s starting price story, stating that there will be four trim levels available for our market. All of the images we’ve mostly seen with all the interior trim and fancy leather are of the premium Avenir trim and this will be the first time that said trim level will appear as an option in the Envision.
The base model will simply be called the Envision, with the Envision Preferred being the next step, followed by the Envision Essence. Those prices aren’t official, but their sources say the base Envision starts at $ 34,000, with pre-orders and initial launch focusing on the other three trim levels. All-wheel drive will also be an option on all versions except the base.
This all-new 2021 Envision shares the same E2 platform as the Cadillac XT4 and will carry a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder mill linked to a nine-speed car. Power figures are expected to be 230 horsepower (171 kW) and 258 lb-ft (350 Nm) of torque. GM has the vehicle assembled at the Jinqiao plant in Shanghai, China, both for domestic sales and for export to North America.
