2019-2020 Ford Ranger Gains Three Off-Road Packages

2019-2020 Ford Ranger Gains Three Off-Road Packages

The Ford Ranger has a fairly robust after-sales support, but if you want to go the OEM route, Ford already offers many upgrades and factory accessories for your truck. These include a healthy power boost through a software update and a K&N air filter, as well as a front and rear shock kit. Now the manufacturer is adding new improvements with three all-terrain packages.

Available for 2019 and 2020 Ranger models equipped with all-wheel drive, the kits offer three levels of hardware, software and graphics upgrades. All three packs come standard with an off-road upgrade kit, which consists of Fox shocks, new 17-inch gray Dyno wheels and special graphics for the bed and windshield.

Here is the full list of equipment for each pack (in addition to the upgrade kit and 17-inch wheels):

Performance level 1 set

  • FOX “Tuned by Ford Performance” 2.0 Performance Series front and rear shock absorbers with internal floating piston adjusted by Ford Performance engineers to optimize on and off road performance
  • Ford Performance bedside graphics o Ford Performance windshield banner

“Our goal is to inspire customers by offering them the capabilities and style options of the aftermarket brands they love,” said Eric Cin, global director of Ford Vehicle Personalization. “The three new Ford Performance Packs allow our adventure-loving Ranger customers to explore even more with even more freedom thanks to the off-road capability added directly to the dealership.”
